DESCRIPTION:Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the International Alliance to Combat Ocean Acidification are proud to present this event celebrating leadership in ocean acidification science and policy. The event will spotlight actions taken across countries and emphasize the importance of addressing ocean acidification as part of the broader blue economy, including for seafood sovereignty and the sustainability of coastal livelihoods. \n\nThis event will open with a short film titled Changing Waters: Time for Action on Ocean Acidification and include a panel with national governments, the Tanzanian Fisheries Research Institute, and a representative of the Makah Tribal Organization sharing lessons learned in taking policy action on ocean acidification.
